I'm a certified teacher in ESE and Math Grades 6-12 with over 20 years of experience in education. I work primarily with students ages 12-22 in all subject areas. Autism, ADHD, anxiety, dysgraphia, and other unique challenges such as twice exceptional students who blend giftedness with neurodivergence--all find acceptance and success in an environment designed for them to thrive. My library is stocked with educational materials and fun enrichment supplies. Fidget toys, flexible seating arrangements, and adjustable lighting accompany a smaller social atmosphere with a balance between social interactions with peers and academic growth. I meet each of my students where they are and help them to develop in each subject area commensurate with their unique abilities. I also work with students over Zoom, allowing flexibility of communication and the ability to share digital work more readily and from anywhere. Home education, tutoring, exam preparation, year end evaluations, curriculum development, parent-educator support, dual enrollment support, and more are on offer. I have worked in public school, private school, homeschool cooperatives and pods, various camps, and more. Courses I have taught include: Math (through Calculus), Geography, Creative Writing, Drama, Executive Function Skills, Study Skills, Brain Games, Engineering Games, Cryptography, and more. I have tutored in all college business major courses, Spanish 1-3, most Sciences, all general English and Social Studies high school and college courses, plus College Readiness.
