Florida Education Vendors: The Complete Directory of Florida ESA-Approved Vendors for PEP and FES-UA Scholarship Families

What is Florida Education Vendors?

Florida Education Vendors (floridaemavendors.com) is an independent, privately operated digital directory and media company connecting Florida families who hold PEP (Personalized Education Program) and FES-UA (Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities) scholarships with approved vendors, tutors, therapists, curriculum publishers, enrichment programs, microschools, and education service providers across the state of Florida.

The platform is not affiliated with Step Up For Students, the Florida Department of Education, ClassWallet, or any government agency. It exists as a neutral third-party resource built by a Florida ESA parent who experienced firsthand how difficult it is to find eligible vendors through the official EMA (Education Marketplace and Account) portal.

Florida Education Vendors launched in 2024 and has grown to more than 700 active vendor listings as of mid-2026, making it the largest independent vendor directory for Florida ESA scholarship families.

Who Florida Education Vendors Serves

Scholarship Families

Florida Education Vendors primarily serves parents and guardians of Florida students who receive education savings account scholarships through Step Up For Students. These families use scholarship funds administered through the EMA portal (formerly ClassWallet) to pay approved vendors directly or seek reimbursement for eligible educational expenses.

Families use the directory to:

  • Find tutors who accept PEP or FES-UA scholarship payments
  • Locate therapists (speech, occupational, ABA, counseling) approved for FES-UA funds
  • Browse curriculum publishers and homeschool programs that ship to Florida addresses or deliver online
  • Discover enrichment programs, arts and music lessons, STEM activities, and physical education vendors in their metro area
  • Find microschools and hybrid learning programs near them
  • Research testing and assessment providers for required annual evaluations
  • Identify vendors who offer Direct Pay (no out-of-pocket cost) vs. reimbursement

Vendors and Education Providers

The platform also serves education businesses, independent tutors, licensed therapists, curriculum publishers, and enrichment providers who are eligible to receive Florida ESA scholarship payments and want to be discovered by scholarship families actively searching for their services.

Vendors can claim free listings, upgrade to Standard ($39/month) or Premium ($99/month) plans for enhanced visibility, and appear in search results filtered by category, scholarship type, delivery method, location, and subcategory.

How the Directory Works

Vendors in the directory are either Step Up For Students approved EMA marketplace vendors or providers who have otherwise established eligibility to receive scholarship payments directly or through reimbursement. Florida Education Vendors does not independently verify Step Up eligibility -- families are encouraged to confirm vendor eligibility in the official EMA portal before making purchases.

Vendors appear in the directory through two pathways:

  • Unclaimed listings: Florida Education Vendors identifies eligible vendors from publicly available sources and creates listings on their behalf. These vendors have not yet claimed or verified their listing.
  • Claimed listings: Vendors who have created accounts and verified ownership of their listing. Claimed vendors can update their information, add photos, respond to reviews, and upgrade their plan for enhanced visibility.

Vendor tiers:

  • Free: Basic listing with name, category, location, and contact information
  • Standard ($39/month): Enhanced listing with logo, description, photos, and priority in search results
  • Premium ($99/month): Full listing with all Standard features plus featured placement, video, and category sponsorship eligibility
