Charlotte Community Cooperative Creative Learning.

Real Friendships. Endless Discovery. Charlotte Community Co-Op (CCC) is a secular, once-a-week homeschool enrichment community serving students ages 7-17 in Port Charlotte, Florida. Designed for homeschooling families who value hands-on learning, meaningful friendships, and a welcoming community, CCC combines engaging academics with creative exploration in an environment where curiosity is encouraged and every student is valued. Each Monday, students spend the day learning through experiences rather than worksheets alone. Our morning learning blocks feature History. Alive!, where history comes off the page through storytelling, role-playing, primary sources, projects, and interactive activities, and The Why Workshop, an inquiry-based science program that encourages students to investigate, experiment, build, and discover how the world works. Afternoons are dedicated to Creative Collective and Made to Market, where students explore a wide variety of creative and practical skills. Throughout the year they may cook, engineer, paint, design, garden, build, create, solve problems, and collaborate on real-world projects. In Made to Market, students experience the full entrepreneurial journey, developing ideas, creating products, learning branding, budgeting, pricing, marketing, and customer service before showcasing their work at our annual community marketplace during the Hometown Backyard Bash. CCC serves homeschooling families from a variety of educational philosophies and backgrounds. Whether families are new to homeschooling or have been homeschooling for years, our goal is to provide consistent friendships, enriching educational experiences, and a supportive community where students can learn alongside peers while parents enjoy the flexibility of a once-a-week drop off program. Our campus offers opportunities that extend well beyond a traditional classroom. Located on the beautiful Wintergarden campus, students have access to community gardens, a growing food forest, outdoor learning spaces, a teaching kitchen, creative gathering areas, and room to explore, imagine, and connect. Lessons regularly move outdoors and incorporate the campus itself as a learning environment. What makes Charlotte Community Co-Op different is our focus on creating a community where relationships are just as important as academics. We intentionally keep our program welcoming, inclusive, and low-pressure. Students are encouraged to ask questions, try new things, collaborate with others, and discover their own interests in a safe and respectful environment. We believe learning should be engaging, friendships should be genuine, and Mondays should be something students look forward to each week. Charlotte Community Co-Op is a Step Up for Students Direct Pay Provider, making participation simple for scholarship families. We also offer convenient payment options including check, cash, and Zelle. Whether your student loves science, history, art, engineering, entrepreneurship, or simply being part of a community of curious learners, Charlotte Community Co-Op offers a place to grow, create, and belong.
