Jill Sew Crafty by Sweet Diva MJ

Providing hands-on sewing lessons, holiday camps, and weekend themed workshops for kids and teens ages 8–18 in Duval County.

Weekly sewing classes for kids and teens, ages 8-18, using the approved Kids Can Sew and Teach to Sew (You Can Make It) sewing curriculums. Annual registration fee is $160 (for curriculum/patterns) plus first month’s tuition (DISCOUNTED from $120). Each month thereafter is $120. New students may join an existing class at any time, providing a spot is open. Each workbook/pattern packet will typically take about the length of school year to complete, but students do work at their own pace and there is no specific timeline in which they must finish. Machines and basic sewing tools are provided; students purchase fabrics and notions (ribbon, buttons, etc.) for each project. Each student receives a binder, workbook and pattern packet with their registration fee - these binders and workbooks are great for evaluations at the end of the year. There are 4 levels to the curriculum/program, each level building on the skills learned before and progressing them further. Older teens, and also students who have finished the last Kids Can Sew program level, can also use or move on to the You Can Make It Program, which uses commercial patterns of their choosing. I also offer seasonal camps and monthly themed weekend workshops. Please visit the sewing class pages on my website for a full description of what is offered, the current schedule, etc.
