MindBridge Math Mastery

MindBridge Math Mastery is a specialized online math intervention practice led by dyscalculia specialist Susan Ardila, M.Ed.

Florida families can use eligible Step Up For Students funds to receive personalized, one-on-one virtual math intervention from anywhere in the state. Unlike traditional tutoring centers that often follow a standardized curriculum or assign students to multiple tutors, every student at MindBridge Math Mastery works directly with Ms. Susan for every session. Instruction is completely individualized based on each student's strengths, challenges, learning profile, and long-term goals. Every lesson is adjusted as the student progresses, ensuring instruction remains responsive, effective, and personalized. MindBridge Math Mastery specializes in supporting students with learning differences including dyscalculia, ADHD, autism, dyslexia, executive functioning challenges, math anxiety, processing speed weaknesses, working memory difficulties, and other learning differences. Services are also appropriate for students who have fallen behind in math, struggle to retain concepts, need foundational skill remediation, or simply benefit from individualized instruction that moves at their pace. Students from elementary school through adulthood receive support in areas such as number sense, counting, place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, math fact fluency, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, proportions, integers, pre-algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, geometry, mathematical reasoning, problem solving, and word problems. Executive functioning coaching, study skills, organization, and test preparation are also available when appropriate. Rather than focusing only on homework completion or test preparation, MindBridge Math Mastery identifies the underlying skill gaps that are preventing long-term success. Using evidence-based, multisensory instructional methods, students develop a deeper understanding of mathematics through visual models, manipulatives, structured representations, verbal reasoning, and the Concrete-Representational-Abstract (CRA) instructional approach. The goal is to help students understand WHY math works so they can apply concepts confidently and independently. Susan Ardila brings more than 13 years of mathematics education experience to every session. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree earned Summa Cum Laude, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Mathematics Education K-12 earned wth a 4.0 GPA, Texas teaching certifications in Elementary Education and Mathematics 4-8, and advanced training in dyscalculia intervention, multisensory math, executive functioning, and evidence-based mathematics instruction. Her experience includes classroom teaching, curriculum development, educational leadership, and working extensively with students who have learning differences. Because every session is delivered live online, families throughout Florida have access to specialized math intervention without traveling to a tutoring center.
