See MY Website Does your child seem bright and capable but struggle with motivation, organization, emotional regulation, social challenges, masking, or getting schoolwork done? Have you tried rewards, consequences, tutoring, planners, and reminders, only to find that nothing seems to work consistently? Are homework battles, school avoidance, anxiety, executive functioning challenges, or sensory overwhelm creating stress at home? Many of the families I work with are trying to understand why a child who is intelligent and capable is still struggling. Often, the issue isn't a lack of ability. It may be ADHD, autism, AuDHD, giftedness, dyslexia, anxiety, sensory differences, or a learning style that doesn't fit traditional expectations. I provide both therapy and educational consultation for tweens, teens, young adults, and families throughout Florida. My practice is particularly well suited for highly sensitive, neurodivergent, gifted, and creative individuals who are able to participate in traditional talk therapy and are looking for a collaborative, strengths-based approach. Together, we work to better understand how your child learns, processes information, experiences emotions, and navigates the world. Educational consultation may include homeschooling support, alternative education planning, accommodations, executive functioning strategies, motivation, emotional regulation, and guidance for families navigating neurodivergence. As a homeschool parent myself, I understand many of the unique joys and challenges homeschooling and alternative-education families face. In therapy, I often incorporate creative and expressive approaches, including art, storytelling, metaphor, mindfulness, and experiential activities, helping clients explore emotions and develop new skills in ways that feel engaging and accessible. All services are provided virtually, allowing children, teens, and families to participate from the comfort of home. For many neurodivergent and highly sensitive individuals, being in a familiar environment can reduce stress, minimize sensory overload, eliminate travel time, and create a more comfortable space for learning, growth, and connection. Services are available throughout Florida for ages 11 and up.
