Seasons of Seven (virtual Waldorf school) This is a teacher-guided Waldorf program that runs from parent-child classes through high school.
Experienced Waldorf teachers deliver Main Lesson Blocks (4 to 8 weeks each, building to a 32-week year) through video lessons full of stories, movement, art, and hands-on work. Families learn at their own rhythm, with weekly live classes for community and parent office hours for support. The same teachers move up with the children year after year, so they know each child. Enrichment classes cover handwork, music, eurythmy, and foreign language, and the high school courses are NCAA-approved. The site also has a page on using state education funding. Waldorf Essentials (homeschool curriculum) This is a Waldorf-centered curriculum by Melisa Nielsen for parents who want to be fully in charge of their child's education and go at their own pace. The site says it's written by homeschoolers for homeschoolers, with a focus on keeping parents from getting overwhelmed or quitting. Beyond the curriculum, it offers parent coaching, teacher training, free podcasts and downloadable resources, live support sessions, and options for co-ops, pods, and charter schools. The difference: Seasons of Seven is hybrid, with teachers guiding your child. Waldorf Essentials is independent, with you as the teacher.
