Located in Yulee, FL (Nassau County) Horseback riding lessons through the Horsemanship Program at Belle Haven Equestrian offer a holistic experience that develops the body, mind, & character.

We have a detailed curriculum that is competency focused, age appropriate, sequential & progressive. We will meet your child where they are developmentally and build from there. Every experience at the barn is meant to be a safe & fun session that fosters growth & encourages curiosity. We offer Pony Pals, an introductory level program designed for young children ages 3-7 who are just starting their equestrian journey. Pony Pals teaches basic horse knowledge and horse care concepts, emphasizing the importance of unmounted skills & safety with an introduction to principles of riding on the lead line. Level 1 Beginner Lessons are introductory level lessons for ages 8 & older, designed to give students a safe overview of basic mounted and unmounted skills. It introduces safety concepts for handling horses on the ground & in the saddle, including grooming, tacking up, riding at the walk & trot. There is a strong focus on unmounted horse handling & care for beginner riders with an emphasis on safety while teaching important equine terminology & basic horse keeping skills. Beginner-Intermediate Lessons continue rider development, offer opportunities to compete, & level up equestrian skills as they progress through an intentional, leveled curriculum at Belle Haven.
