At DPT, we are dedicated to empowering individuals by enhancing their employability skills and supporting their career aspirations according to their skill set.

Our comprehensive program includes Resources and Training, Career Exploration, Interviewing Skills Training, and Support for those that receive government benefits. Join DPT to enhance your skills and take the next step towards reaching your goal. ​ We teach the skills necessary to thrive with minimal assistance from others using different teach techniques such as: Group Setting Exercises Mentoring and Coaching Skills Training Assistive Technology Educational Programs Benefits Assistance Assist in applying and requalify for the following benefits: Social Security Disability Insurance (SSD) Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Medicaid Food Stamps Unemployment Other resources as needed ​ ADVOCACY We advocate for the community or individuals to receive public services both locally and nationally, in areas of government benefits, employment, and education. ​ SUPPORT SERVICES DPT offers resources and training to improve employability skills. Clients will be able to participate in workshops on resume writing, career exploration, and interviewing skills. Assistance will be provided for those receiving Social Security Disability (SSDI), enrolled in the Ticket to Work Program, and other related benefits counseling. Other services will be offered as needed for self-care, in-home supports and more. ​ INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS We teach the skills necessary to thrive with minimal assistance from others using different techniques such as: Mentoring, Life Coaching, IL Skills Training, Educational Programs, Benefits Assistance. • Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) • Supplemental Security Income (SSI) • Medicaid Waiver • Medicaid • Food Stamps • Other resources as needed
