Instruction based on the science of reading with the ultimate goal of fostering a love of literacy.

All tutoring/instruction is with a certified reading specialist with a masters degree in reading education and 20 years of experience. My specialty is the learning-to-read process. I start with assessments in phonics, phonemic awareness and fluency to see what students know and what they need to work on. All instruction is tailored to student needs, and I share optional resources to work on at home. I also offer consulting, workshops, assessments and parent partnerships.
