Providence School

Providence School is a COGNIA accredited nontraditional private school serving grades K through 12 with full time and part time enrollment.

Class size for reading, writing, and math is a maximum of 10 students with a mastery based progression plan. Online attendance is an option. The students are placed in core subjects based on academic level using research proven, evidence based curriculum, such as the Wilson Reading System, LIndamood Bell visualizing and verbalizing strategies, and project based hands-on learning. Our teachers are highly experienced , certified, and trained in the Wilson reading system. We also have a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner on staff to provide intensive reading instruction for struggling readers. Students can enroll full-time or part-tim with a personally designed schedule. We also offer tutoring services online and in-person. . Academic programs are personally tailored to meet the needs of each family. Our structure is based on traditional values with a focus on technology and the arts. We offer electives on Friday and the core subjects are taught Monday through Thursday. Our staff works as a team with parents to maximize the progress of each student and to design the “best fit” academic plan.
