Based in Vero Beach, Florida, we offer engaging, hands-on nature-based programs for children and families throughout Indian River County. Our experiences combine outdoor exploration, environmental science, creative expression, movement, and play to nurture curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. Our Programs Include: Summer & Seasonal Camps: Unforgettable outdoor adventures filled with wildlife discovery, hands-on science, nature-inspired art, and new friendships. Homeschool Enrichment: Small-group outdoor learning experiences that bring science, creativity, and environmental education to life. School Holiday Adventures: Fun, educational experiences for children on days when school is out. Family Explorer Adventures: Guided nature walks and interactive activities that bring families together to explore local ecosystems. School & Community Partnerships: Nature-based enrichment, environmental education workshops, and interactive learning experiences for schools, preschools, and community organizations. Who We Serve We welcome curious young explorers, homeschool families, traditional school students, and families seeking meaningful outdoor experiences. Our programs primarily serve children ages 5–12, with age-specific activities designed to support this stage of development. What Makes Us Different? Sprout & Sky is more than an outdoor activity program. Founded by an educator with a background in social work and over a decade of experience working with children, our approach emphasizes whole-child development through hands-on, play-based learning. We prioritize small groups, meaningful relationships, inclusive experiences, and opportunities for children to learn at their own pace. By exploring Florida's unique habitats, wildlife, and ecosystems, children develop creativity, problem-solving skills, resilience, environmental awareness, and a deeper sense of belonging in nature.
