I am an art educator with over 25 years of experience teaching children, youth & adults in both in-person and virtual settings.
I hold both BFA and MDIV degrees and have used art in a ministry setting as a Children's & Youth Director in Louisiana until I moved to Florida 3 years ago. I incorporate art history along with technical art skills training in painting, drawing, sculpture and mixed media. Classes are kept small with a max of 6 students/class, many only having 3-4 students. I offer classes Monday-Friday from 10am-5:30pm, and I have a variety of types of classes to meet your scheduling needs (weekly, monthly, virtual, in-person, age-specific & mixed- ages). Parents who use my services often remain loyal clients for years, stating that they enjoy how I balance teaching skills & art history yet fostering personal creativity! Students focus on specific art movements & Master Artists for extended periods of 6-8 weeks allowing a fuller grasp of styles and creation techniques. I also offer special summer camp options June-July.

Mixed Media Art Class
Mrs. Alison is by far the best art teacher I have ever experienced for kids. She is so patient with the kids and goes way above and beyond to create a wonderful and memorable experience for the students. The art work my kids come home with blows my mind every single time! They learn about different artists and techniques they used and learn how to do it themselves! I highly recommend her classes!

Art Classes
We have been taking classes from Allison for over a year now and my kids love them. I like that they are doing more than just crafts and that they are learning about famous artists and techniques. She is very easy to work with and classes are kept small so students get a lot of one on one attention. I highly recommend her classes.

100/10 amazing! Such a quality art teacher. Flexible, many options, and a family-like feel. Doesn’t overbook her classes and is really attentive during her lessons. My daughters love her classes and their artistic talents have grown ten fold!
